The Fireplace Center of Bozeman
Founded on tradition. Built for the future.
In 2022, The Fireplace Center of Bozeman entered a new chapter under the ownership of longtime partners and family members, Justin Bowers and Randy Schram. With deep roots in the Gallatin Valley and a longstanding relationship with the previous owners, Justin and Randy bring a strong sense of continuity, pride, and purpose to the business.
As Montana’s largest fireplace retailer, we are committed to serving the community our families have called home for over 30 years. With more than two decades of experience as independent business owners in Southwest Montana, we believe in doing business the old-fashioned way—with hard work, integrity, and a promise to stand behind our products and our people.
“We’re honored to play a part in the growth and warmth of this incredible community. As we look to the future, we remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our neighbors—and to watch our children, grandchildren, and community thrive.
From our family to yours—thank you for letting us be part of your home.”

What is the difference between a built-in gas fireplace and a gas insert?
A built in gas fireplace is a new build or remodel that is framed out for a specific gas burning appliance. An insert is a great option when you have an operable wood-burning fireplace but would like something that burns more efficiently, utilizing gas, and is less of a hassle to use.
